FAQ

What is Fuse?

Fuse is the youth ministry of Oasis Christian Centre and is especially designed for young people who are high school and college aged. We run a varied weekly programme, including social events, school's lunch clubs, small groups, drop in, prayer & worship songs, Bible teaching, games, team work...

Are the events & programs supervised?

Yes! All of our programs are supervised and overseen by our team of adult leaders. Our team have undergone CRB checks and are trained to work with young people. Our aim is not only to create a fun, positive atmosphere at all of our programs but it is also to create a safe and secure environment where young people are cared for and supported.

Does my child need a consent form to attend a Fuse activity?

Your child does not need a consent form to attend our Thursday night program at Oasis or to attend Fused on a Sunday morning. However, your child will need a consent form for other programs we run such as socials and residentials, however this will always be stated before the event and information that will be given to your child, we have a 'no form - no go' policy!

How much does it cost for my child to come to Fuse?

Our regular weekly programs at Fuse are free of charge (however, we do have weekly offerings & snack shop available to purchase drinks and munchies). Prices of other programs will always be advertised and the information given to your child.

What are LG's?

LG's (Life Groups) is the name given to our small groups that meet monthly. Each group is overseen by our leaders. These groups give us an opportunity to offer appropriate pastoral care and support to any young people who need it. It also gives the youth another positive role model within their life and helps them develop healthy and supportive relationship with their peers, and discover more about faith in Jesus Christ and what the Bible means. LG's meet around the Oasis Campus and are split in school year groups.

Who do I contact if I have any queries or concerns regarding Fuse or a young person who attends?

Please feel free to contact a Fuse Leader at the office on the Contact details provided or speak to one of us at the end of any of our sessions.
